What is Family Weekend?
This is an opportunity for families who have a child with vision loss (including those with additional disabilities) to listen to informational speakers, and to meet other families from across North Dakota and staff from North Dakota Vision Services/School for the Blind.
Spring is right around the corner, bringing sunshine with it! We are inviting our students to join us in our upcoming Middle School Short-Term Program, "Here Comes the Sun!"
Adult Training Weeks are for adults who are experiencing vision loss. Whether you are new to vision loss or are experiencing a change in your vision we are here to help you navigate those changes.
NDVS/SB is excited to be hosting a pop-up training for young adults (seniors in high school through age 26) in Minot on Saturday, March 5. Please see the attached flyer for additional information. Please share with others who would be interested.
We are encouraging young adults to register by Wednesday, February 23.

Please join us as we cover topics related to transition and employment and reflect on how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed life for those with vision loss. NDVS/SB is excited to host an event in celebration of White Cane Safety Day (October 15) and National Blind Sports Day (October 9)! Join us on Sunday, October 10 to try out a variety of blind sports and support the North Dakota Association of the Blind-NDAB!
If you are a student in grades 1-6 please join our summer program to experience in-person adventures with animals & stories.
Join us for our High School Summer Transition & Career Program! This program is intended for students currently in grades 9 – 12 and will focus on lessons regarding college and employment readiness – including higher education access and employment skills such as interviewing and job research.
