We are having an open house for the community. We have events tailored for all ages to introduce our services and building for the people we serve.

Join us in our upcoming Elementary School Short-Term Program, “STEAM Access for All” for 1st – 5th/6th graders. During our educational program, students will partake in instruction and events incorporating the Expanded Core Curriculum and go on some adventures where they will learn about and experience STEAM activities.

Our educational program is filled with instruction and experiences focusing on independence and the Expanded Core Curriculum. A focus this week will be on Recreation and Leisure by partaking in our Goalball tournament with SD School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Aberdeen, SD.

Our lessons and activities during this program week will be focused around the book "Grumpy Monkey" published by National Braille Press (NBP). Activities will include role-playing using various body language and facial expressions. We’ll have some outings and games about following directions (listening skills); team building and much more!
