Past Events

Our educational program is filled with instruction and experiences focusing on independence and the Expanded Core Curriculum. A key focus of this program will be on Recreation and Leisure, as SD School for the Blind and Visually Impaired joins us for a social activity on Friday evening and our Goalball tournament on Saturday.

Our lessons and activities during this program week will be focused around the book Iggy Peck, Architect, published by National Braille Press (NBP). The story follows a boy who loves to build, and we will incorporate a variety of hands-on, building-focused activities and projects, including accessible Legos, a virtual meeting with a blind architect, games that strengthen listening and direction-following skills, team-building exercises, and more.

Adult Training is available for adults who are experiencing vision loss.  Whether you are new to vision loss or are experiencing a change in your vision we are here to help you navigate those changes.

Join us as we venture to Annie's House at Bottineau Winter Park! Winter JAM is an active, fun-filled social event for students in grades 7-10.
