Ready Set Go! Ready or not it’s the beginning of a new school year. With this new beginning comes a great deal of anticipation I hope all of which is good. There is an energy in the air with students, parents, and teachers scurrying around. I would like to think that all of the work, busy schedules, and accompanying stress are balanced out with the fun and excitement of students being with friends again and for the love of learning. I think we forget that learning should be fun. That is how we all learn best. I hope that every parent, every teacher, and everyone in students' lives reminds them every day that we are so lucky to live in a place where there is so much opportunity. Some days are difficult, but we can all do better by supporting each other with encouraging words and a smile. Ultimately it is up to each of us to have a good attitude and do the best we can for ourselves and others. In the words of the famous philosopher Dr. Seuss:
"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose."
