Please join us for our Teen ~ Middle/High School Virtual Program! This program will take place Nov. 15 - 19 (Sun – Thurs) remotely via Zoom, with live sessions happening Sunday from 7-8pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4pm. Monday and Wednesday the attendees will work on a project or assignment as designated which will range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. This program is intended for students currently in grades 6th /7th – 12th and will include lessons focusing on the Expanded Core Curriculum areas of Career Education and Self-Determination.
The Elementary Summer Program has been cancelled due to COVID. Please be on the lookout via email and Facebook for a fun, virtual activity!
We will focus on lessons regarding college and employment readiness – including higher education access and employment skills such as interviewing and job research. Students will also experience virtual lessons incorporating the Expanded Core Curriculum along with some fun!
Our Middle School summer program is going to be a little different this year because we are going virtual due to COVID-19 pandemic. Join us June 1-4, 2020 from 2-4 pm via Zoom.
NDVS/SB is sorry to announce that due to a low number of registrations we are postponing the The Family Weekend until this fall. Please watch for updates about the new dates.
What is Family Weekend?
This is an opportunity for families who have a child with vision loss (including those with additional disabilities) to listen to informational speakers, and to meet other families from across North Dakota and staff from North Dakota Vision Services/School for the Blind.

Elementary Short Term Program focused on Measuring Penny published by National Braille Press (NBP).
Adults with visual impairments experience varying degrees of need for professional services depending upon age, lifestyle, community characteristics and their own unique visual functioning. It is the goal of North Dakota Vision Services/School for the Blind (NDVS/SB) to assist individuals in reaching their personal goals through assessment and training.
Join us for the opportunity to take part in our new Independent Living Program which includes living in an apartment setting and experiencing daily living on your own! (Guidance of skilled staff).
Middle School Short-Term Program (Grades 6-9) - Learn about and experience STEM activities including APH's new product Snap Circuits.
