Celebrate You! Teen Short-Term Program
for 10th-12th grade students
Our educational program is filled with instruction and experiences focusing on independence and the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) and includes the opportunity to take part in our Independent Living Program.

Register now for our educational program which is filled with instruction and experiences focusing on independence and the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC). This includes the opportunity to take part in our Independent Living Program which includes living in an apartment setting and experiencing daily living on your own! (Guidance of skilled staff). Space is limited!
What to Bring:
Business casual clothing for job sites; outdoor clothing/gear; personal items including PJ’s, robe, slippers, toiletries; modest swimwear; $10-$20 spending money; any over the counter medicines you may need such as Tylenol, and prescription medications.
School Assignments:
There will be limited time allotted to work on school assignments. We ask that only the necessary homework be sent. Instruction on the ECC will be our focus! Please bring technology devices (such as laptop, iPad, Braillenote, etc.) that you use to work on your school curriculum.
How to Register:
If you would like to register, please email Cindy Williams at ckwillia@nd.gov or mail the following forms which are available below to Cindy Williams at 500 Stanford Rd Grand Forks, ND 58203.
- Student Data form (please complete all areas, authorization area needs to be signed – not just typed). If you have already submitted a Student Data form this school year, another does not need to be submitted
- Release of Information between local school and NDVS/SB (needs to be signed – not just typed). If you have already submitted a Release of Information form this school year, another does not need to be submitted.
Registration may also be completed through your Vision/Outreach Teacher. If you would like to receive a paper copy or if you have any questions, contact Cindy Williams at 701-795-2704.
We have limited spaces available, and registrations are confirmed based on availability and needs of the student. Since we are a ND state agency, priority will be given to ND residents. You will be notified confirming your registration.
