NDVS/SB Region 3 Outreach Coordinator
The month of August often brings big changes – cooler weather, new school year, and new beginnings. Our newest employee, Breanne Welk, began her new position at NDVS/SB this past August and is looking forward to all the things a new job brings. Here, Breanne shares her goals and a bit about herself!
Hi! My name is Breanne Welk and I’m new to the crew. I grew up and graduated high school in Velva, ND. I then attended Minot State University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education. I taught special education at Rugby High School while earning my master’s degree in educational leadership and learned so much from this experience! While there, I was able to collaborate with a TSVI from NDVS/SB. This experience was so meaningful that I was inspired to be a TSVI myself. In this new role, I am excited about a lot of things, but here are my top 3:
- Get to know, help, and teach amazing students.
- Work alongside dedicated and knowledgeable educators.
- Use my expertise from the classroom to help make a difference.
On a personal note, I live on a farm and ranch with my husband and two kids. I enjoy camping, travelling, running, and sand volleyball. I also love to read and am always open to book recommendations!
