At NDVS/SB, we believe that a person who is blind or visually impaired has the right to receive instruction in all aspects of his/her life in order to learn the skills necessary to reach full potential. In compliance with state and federal mandates, NDVS/SB offers a full range of service options, based on individual strengths and needs, and what is most appropriate at the specific time.
Also, you will find a link on this website to an informational paper entitled "Students with Visual Impairments in North Dakota Schools". This document was developed by the Department of Public Instruction to assure that high quality services for the visually impaired are available throughout the state of North Dakota.
