School for the Blind Photo Album: Page 1

The North Dakota Vision Services/School for the Blind outdoor sign which is located at the entrance to the parking lot. Flowers and trees line the walkway leading to the entrance of North Dakota Vision Services/School for the Blind. Teacher and student enjoy a ride on the two-seater bike on a nice winter's day. Student is using the sewing machine to finish his sewing project for Summer Adventure. Teacher and student are using the screen enlargement program in the technology center.
Student is completing an evaluation by inserting pegs into a pegboard. The vocational instructor is giving the student direction to the complete the pegboard activity. Student is completing a tactual skill task as part of the Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation. Hands reading the Braille printed page. Bob is proofreading Braille in the Braille Access Center.
Students & Staff are enjoying songs around the campfire during Summer Adventure. Students are examining the oars and listening to the staff explain the art of canoeing. A student steps into the canoe while the staff keep it steady. Teacher is assisting the student with his life jacket in preparation for canoeing. Wooded area in the background. Student wearing a red clown nose enjoys the carnival along with his teacher who is also dressed like a clown.
Teacher and student are sitting in front of an inflatable swimming pool. They are getting ready to reach for a plastic duck from several which are floating on the water. Another fun carnival activity. Teacher is sitting in the center of students reading the book 'The Cat in the Hat'. The teacher is wearing a large red and white hat with a black and white suit with a large red bow. A group of students and teaches play circle game. Teacher with two students measuring flour in preparation for a cooking activity. Student is writing math fraction problems using a reading stand and large markers. Teacher and two students are sitting at the table making a U.S. flag by sticking colored fabric swatches into a Styrofoam form.
